Adults:
Pictures that will be posted online (social media/website) require written consent if the faces are clearly recognizable. In lieu of photo permission forms, notice can be given regarding the taking of photographs. A verbal announcement must be made at the beginning of the service or event alerting people to the photography. No photos during baptism or communion without prior consent. We are encouraging people who participate regularly to fill out and return the photo permission form.

Children and Youth (under 18):
Names of children are not posted on the website or on Facebook.
We would like to use this information in the following ways:
1. Public Media Including the Internet
- photos or videos shared on St. Andrew’s United Church website
- photos and videos shared with other social media platforms such as Facebook or Instagram
2. Informational Purposes in the Church Community
- church calendar, newsletter or other church publications
- displays of child’s work in the church community
 - sharing copies of photos and videos with youth group members
If we share any child information we promise to:
• check that we have your consent on file
• consider the privacy interests of your child
• balance the privacy interests of your child with the informational value for the church community sharing the pride of their achievements
